Jagdhausalm & Pfauenauge
Simply impressive! Experience an elevated journey through Austria’s oldest Alpine village from the 13th century when walking in Defereggental. A little bit further on, hidden behind a moraine, is the Pfauenauge, a wonderful circular lake.
Brunnalm
Leisurely hiking in Austria. The lifts in front of the Jesacherhof hotel take you up to roughly 2,000 metres above sea level, where numerous hikes start. Mountain restaurants and snack bars that serve typical Austrian delicacies invite you to take a break while hiking in Defereggental.
Europa-Panoramaweg
Lasting memories for both the young and old. This family hike starts at 3,300 metres above sea level and leads from the Kals top station to the Matrei top station.
