The Jesacherhof is the perfect home base for your memorable skiing holiday in Defereggental. From your comfortable hotel room, you can reach the Brunnalm family ski resort at 2,683 metres above sea level in just a few minutes. Here, you can ski to your heart’s content on the gleaming white slopes, marvel at the Alpine panorama, and stop for a break at one of the rustic huts. The last run takes you right back to the hotel.

Defereggental is considered one of the most idyllic cross-country skiing areas in Austria. Explore the valley at your own pace on around 70 kilometres of cross-country trails. A special highlight is the high-altitude trail at Staller Sattel. On this sunny high plateau, the perfectly groomed cross-country trail can be skied until spring and offers sensational views.

Hike through the winter wonderland of Deferegger with your toboggan in tow. Before you begin your descent, indulge in some Austrian culinary delights: Schlipfkrapfen (stuffed pasta), Kaspressknödel (bread dumplings), or perhaps some Kaiserschmarrn (torn pancakes)? Then hop onto your toboggan and zoom down to the valley with exhilarating speed. What a thrill!
