The Jesacher family welcomes you!

The Jesacher family has been running the ski and hiking hotel in East Tyrol with dedication since 1972. Deeply rooted in Tyrolean heritage, the family has lived here in beautiful Defereggental for generations and knows every idyllic spot, every stone, and every bend in the road.

Senior hosts Anneliese and Christian Jesacher delight in sharing entertaining anecdotes from their many years as hosts. Their daughter, Birgit Jesacher, greets you with a warm smile at the reception, and Christian Jesacher Jr introduces you to a world of fine wines and spirits each evening. Birgit’s husband, Michael Jesacher-Schneider, stands by to accompany you while fishing and provide useful tips. And the younger generation are born entertainers; Anna and Simon (Birgit and Michael’s children) and Luca and Nico (Christian Jesacher Jr and his partner Elisa Hafele’s little ones) are the brains behind our fun and engaging children’s programme.
